Our Founder: Adjoa Ayivor - MBA (Henley Business School), CA(SA)
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Adjoa Ayivor is a values-led Executive; Consultant; and Social & Impact Entrepreneur.
She has spent 19 years in various corporate roles servicing African & European markets, with the bulk of this time as a Finance Executive.
She is the co-founder and director of a for good initiative called Shadow Careers which is addressing youth unemployment in an innovative way. Since inception over 1000 excluded youth have been placed in permanent employment.
She established Yivor Connect as a tool to assist & inspire corporates; start-ups and the incredible people that drive the success of these organisations, by focussing on stakeholder alignment pertaining to organisations’ vision, values, objectives and culture. With the ultimate goal of increasing shareholder value and stakeholder engagement.
She is passionate about using her experience and time to have a positive impact on our world.
OUR METHODOLOGY
We do not believe in complex models that are difficult to implement or a fee structure that is impossible to understand.
Our Methodology combines practical hands-on experience gained in both an establised corporate & start-up environment, as well as research conducted by our Founder as part of her Henley Business School MBA Thesis where she interviewed the executives of Top Employers (as recognised by the Top Employer Award) to understand how they had successfully implemented & embedded organisational values. The common thread derived from these interviews now forms the foundation of YIVOR connect. After an information session with the executive sponsor, it can be implemented in your organisation either online or face to face in 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Vision, Mission, Values, Culture, Strategy development & refinement. Initially framed at an executive & senior level, then a multiple stakeholder engagement (if required)
Step 2: Communicate & embed the results of Step 1 with Stakeholders (mainly employees) & ensure they connect with it & understand how to live it through multiple interventions (across all levels)
Step 3: Continuous improvement & assessment through follow-up & communication using the HEAT map survey and follow-up sessions
